Yalla Admin Manual

Room Management

The Rooms module allows administrators to create, view, update, and manage rooms within the Yalla Admin Web. This section explains how to access the Rooms page and how each feature works.

Accessing the Rooms Page

  1. Log in to the Yalla Admin Web.
  2. From the left sidebar, click on Rooms.
  3. The system opens the Rooms list page, with the page title displayed as “Rooms”.

Rooms Overview Page

At the top of the Rooms page, you will see three summary widgets.
These widgets provide a quick overview of room-related information and update automatically based on the data in the system.

Searching and Filtering Rooms

Search Rooms

  • Use the “Search rooms” field to quickly find rooms by name.
  • Results update as you type.

Filter Rooms

  • Click the Filter button to narrow down the room list based on available filter options.
  • Applied filters affect the displayed results immediately.

Sorting

  • Each column in the Rooms list can be sorted.
  • Click on a column header to sort the rooms in ascending or descending order.

Room List & Pagination

  • The Rooms page displays a list of all existing rooms.
  • When more than 10 rooms are available, pagination appears at the bottom of the page.
  • Use pagination controls to navigate between pages.(update the above 2)

Empty State (No Rooms Available)

If no rooms have been added yet:

  • A message is displayed indicating that no rooms are available.
  • A “Create New Room” button is shown to help you add your first room.

Adding a New Room

Open Add Room Modal

  1. Click “Add New Room”.
  2. A modal window opens for entering room details.

Required Fields

  • Room Name is mandatory and must be filled before saving.

Saving a Room

  1. Enter all required information.
  2. Click “Add Room”.
  3. A success message confirms the room has been added.

Closing the Modal

  • Clicking the Close (X) button without entering data closes the modal immediately.
  • If data has been entered, closing the modal prompts a warning message to prevent accidental data loss.
  • The Cancel button behaves the same as the Close (X) button.

Room Actions

Each room in the list includes a three-dot (⋮) action menu with the following options:

Room Details Page

Each Room has its own details page, where it displays options for:

  • Event calendar
  • Day view/week view
  • View schedule
  • Set unavailability
  • Add new Appointment
  • Filter by date range

Edit Room

  • Opens the Edit Room modal.
  • Allows you to update room details.
  • Includes a Room Status dropdown to enable or disable the room.
  • All features available in the Add Room modal are also available in Edit mode.

Delete Room

  • Allows you to remove a room from the system (confirmation required).
